SUMMARY:
An Industrial Solution company is looking for Service Technician to join their team in Pinetown.
POSITION INFO:
The Service Sales Technician is responsible for customer support, overseeing installations and repairs, and growing sales within the Services Business Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Complete required service reports and communicate with relevant persons.
- Communicate/coordinate field service activities with customer and/or local associated sales personnel.
- Installation, service and repair of refrigeration air conditioning, and all associated tasks thereof.
- Provide telephonic technical support to customers.
- Promote Service Contracts through customer interactions and communication.
- Understand customer requirements and provide most cost effective solution.
- Follow-up on Sales leads.
- Grow the customer base for Services.
- Identify sales opportunities within customers plants.
- Grow sales and revenue for Services Department (SLA’s, once-off services, parts and accessories.
- Process in-house evaluations and repairs of units returned by customers.
- Other duties as may be requested from time to time.
Qualification and Experience:- Matric.
- Refrigeration qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field.
- Working knowledge of refrigeration products is required.
- Experience using electrical meters and troubleshooting.
- Previous field service experience preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and unrestricted ability to travel by air or ground to customer locations.
