SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician specialising in Instrumentation & Control Systems (I&C), you will play a key role in shaping healthy, comfortable and sustainable environments within complex utility buildings.
POSITION INFO:
You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of Measurement & Control (M&R) installations and Building Management Systems (BMS) in utility buildings.
Your tasks will include:
- Performing scheduled and corrective maintenance on M&R systems
- Troubleshooting complex malfunctions and providing structural solutions
- Participating in a rotating on-call service (1 week every 8-10 weeks)
- Advising clients on energy savings and system optimizations
- Coordinating activities during client-sensitive moments (e.g. during surgeries, lectures, etc.)
- Preparing clear, professional maintenance and inspection reports
- You will also be a key contributor in discussions around system upgrades and sustainability measures, supporting both client goals and operational excellence.
What You BringYou are a confident and independent technician who can communicate clearly and act as a professional representative of the organisation. You work well under pressure and have a strong sense of responsibility.
In addition, you bring:- A Red Seal Trade Certificate in Instrumentation Technician or a closely related field
- At least 2 years of experience in M&R technology, BMS, or similar installation environments
- PRIVA certification or similar I&C manufacturer training (preferred)
- A valid driver’s license (Code B)
- Strong English skills; willingness to learn Dutch
- VCA VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain)
