SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join us in the Netherlands. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values independence, initiative, and real technical problem-solving. With the trust of your colleagues and clients, you’ll take ownership of daily maintenance, repairs, and optimizations — helping vital systems operate flawlessly.

POSITION INFO:
As a Service Technician, you'll handle a wide range of tasks to ensure smooth operation of HVAC and plumbing systems in complex facilities:

Perform independent maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, drinking water installations, and heat pumps.
Order your own parts and materials for repair and service tasks.
Maintain frequent contact with customers, answering questions and scheduling interventions.
Diagnose and resolve malfunctions, including occasional emergency service (every 8 weeks, including evenings/weekends).
Coordinate with the managing technician and engage subcontractors or colleagues when required for large or complex jobs.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

A Red Seal Certificate as a Millwright or HVAC Technician (or equivalent trade)
At least 2 years of experience in mechanical building installation maintenance
A valid driver's license
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Willingness to rotate on-call for emergency services (1 week every 8 weeks)
Fluent in Afrikaans and English - and motivated to learn Dutch
