Service Technician

We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join us in the Netherlands. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values independence, initiative, and real technical problem-solving. With the trust of your colleagues and clients, you’ll take ownership of daily maintenance, repairs, and optimizations — helping vital systems operate flawlessly.

POSITION INFO:
As a Service Technician, you'll handle a wide range of tasks to ensure smooth operation of HVAC and plumbing systems in complex facilities:

• Perform independent maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, drinking water installations, and heat pumps.
• Order your own parts and materials for repair and service tasks.
• Maintain frequent contact with customers, answering questions and scheduling interventions.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions, including occasional emergency service (every 8 weeks, including evenings/weekends).
• Coordinate with the managing technician and engage subcontractors or colleagues when required for large or complex jobs.

• A Red Seal Certificate as a Millwright or HVAC Technician (or equivalent trade)
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical building installation maintenance
• A valid driver's license
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Willingness to rotate on-call for emergency services (1 week every 8 weeks)
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English - and motivated to learn Dutch
