SUMMARY:
Role Overview
The Service Technician in Cape Town will play a vital role in supporting the Field Services Manager by delivering high-quality technical service, installations and customer support. This role requires a candidate who is proactive, hands-on and committed to delivering excellence in service.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and client engagement.
• Plan and execute new installations and projects.
• Prepare accurate quotes, invoices, site reports and administrative documentation.
• Monitor and analyse client sites remotely with Autoflame software, compiling monthly reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, compliance regulations and company protocols.
• Assist in achieving departmental service targets and generating revenue.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical and engineering issues.
• Promote continuous improvement through quality control processes.

• Solid understanding of Thermodynamics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• Independent, efficient and able to manage time effectively.

• B.Tech: Mechanical Engineering / N.Dip Mech Eng / BSc or BEng Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and MS Teams.
• No experience required (experience in an industrial/engineering environment is an advantage).
