Location: Menlyn (Hybrid – ±8 days per month onsite, subject to Manager discretion)
Contract Duration: 3-Year Renewable Contract (01 December 2025 – 31 December 2028)
Citizenship: South African citizens or permanent residents preferred; applicants with valid work permits will also be considered.
 
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Full Stack Developer (Advanced) to join a dynamic global product team focused on Virtual Device and Enabling Partner solutions. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a developer with strong ServiceNow expertise and a passion for innovation in enterprise IT Service Management. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow-based applications, integrating complex business systems, and driving process optimization within a collaborative, agile environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications.
• Review and streamline existing code to align with ServiceNow best practices.
• Transform custom-built solutions into the ServiceNow standard framework.
• Design and implement new features and capabilities across multiple business units.
• Provide support and consultation to ServiceNow ITSM customers, focusing on Service Structures and Configuration Items.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, guidelines, and operational manuals.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Agile Working Model (AWM).

• Deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow and custom app development.
• Proven background in Enterprise ITSM, CSDM 5, and CMDB.
• Strong integration skills with KAFKA, REST API, NOW API, and Active Directory.
• Proficiency with UI Builder, Service Portal Designer, Themes, and Widgets.
• Knowledge of technical governance and solution optimization.
• Certified in ITIL™ V4 Foundation, practical understanding of Agile methodology.
• Ability to conceptualize complex technical information and translate it into actionable solutions.

• German language proficiency.
• Scaled Agile (SAFe) Certification.
• Advanced ITIL V4 certification (e.g., Create, Deliver, and Support – CDS).
• Experience with network infrastructure, Active Directory, SMTP, and IT Security.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (ITSM, CMDB, PA, PI).

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in IT, with a focus on ServiceNow platform development.
• Experience working in international, cross-functional teams.
