SUMMARY:
Our Client has an opportunity available for a qualified and experienced Sheetmetal Team Leader to be based in the Port Elizabeth area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric/Technical Equivalent, clear criminal record
Sheetmetal Trade Test or Boilermaker Trade Test
Minimum 5 years post trade test experience in a heavy industry or Sheetmetal manufacturing environment, including the use of electric guillotines, bending brakes, former machines and plasma cutter
Experience in staff management, performance management and team leadership
Driver''s License: Code B
Good working knowledge of General Machinery Regulations
Ability to operate plasma cutter and nesting software an advantage.
Experience and understanding of various welding specifications and quality control measures

KPAs:

Developing and Fabrication of sheet metal ducting, fittings and components predominantly for the HVAC industry
Drive production and efficiency and oversee the achievement of daily targets
Preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedules for machinery
Fabricate and weld components including pipe work, structures and steel work according to engineering specifications and safety standards
Install, repair, maintain and upgrade mechanical systems and equipment
