POSITION INFO:

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Grade 12 with technical background
5-8 years overall working experience essential of which 2-3 years in a similar position of people management
Plastic or Nonwoven Manufacturing experience

-Trade tested Millwright / Fitting and Machining / Fitting (Bonus)
-Computer literate
-ERP experience (SAP will be a bonus)
-ISO 9001 system experience
-Willing to work shifts
-
-Reside in and around Atlantis or Cape Town area.
-Valid SA ID Book

Responsibilities (amongst others and not limited to):

-Responsible for correct identification, packing, record-keeping and purity of products
-Dispatch to the production warehouse
-Keeping records relating to production of the respective shift and for the fulfilment of all requirements aimed at achieving maximum quality of the production
-Regular cleaning of the manufacturing equipment and the neighbouring manufacturing area based on the selected instructions and orders issued by the Shift Leader, Production Manager
-Ensure production teams understand the production plan and expectations.
-Lead a team
-Practise and apply practical Health and Safety practices In conjunction with Maintenance plan routine maintenance jobs, unscheduled breakdown
