Shipping Document Controller - Bryanston

Job Description

• Responsible for shipping documents (Import & Export) to Africa
• Prepare Commercial invoice and Packing list
• Prepare documents for Letter of Credit
• Ensure correct issuing of bills of lading and other shipping documents
• Tracking of containers and shipping documents
• Confirm / Amend documents with the factory
• Updating Status Report
• On-time Sending of original shipping documents to the client for clearance at destination
• Follow up daily with the factories to ensure originals are issued on time
• Organizational skills very important
• Work closely with billing team, Regional offices and factories
• Time management important
• Bank and client liaison
• Reporting of issues to management
• Ensuring client requirements are met

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate
• Diploma or degree in logistics

Experience

• Knowledge of basic office and Excel
• Experience working in an office setting
