We are looking for a Shopfloor System Specialist for a 12-month fixed term contract Position for our client based in Centurion/Pretoria.

- Relevant IT diploma/degree
- 5+ yearsâ?? experienceÂ
- Minimum 2-3 yearsâ?? experience in Production / manufacturing system operations environment
Skills and Experience:
- Full DevOps and Request Management
- Support Production systems (24/7 Standby)
- System monitoring and maintenance
- Oracle database queries
- Unix and Unix Shell scripting
- Development and maintenance on platform / application
- Meet with end users and gather requirements
- Facilitate stand-upâ??s
- Propose and review system design and evaluate
- Alternatives
- Review and present to Product Owners
- Support systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
- Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
- User training
- System testing/parallel runs
- System implementation
- System audits/quality assurance
- Oracle Database knowledge.
- UNIX / Linux experience.
- Unix Shell scripting experience
- Python, Java, JavaScript/ES6, NodeJS, C#, C++

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues /users
