Short Term Insurance Broker

SUMMARY:
A great opportunity has become available for a Short-Term Insurance Broker who would like to expand their business by joining our client in Johannesburg East.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• RE1 and RE5 qualifications.
• 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Own vehicle as will be required to travel to clients.
• A book of existing clients required.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain existing clients and source for new clients.
• Advise clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.
• Customise insurance proposals to suit individual clients.
• Deliver approved policies to new clients and explain benefits and risks of the policy.
• Re-assess the policy needs of existing clients after life-changing events.
• Fill-out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports.

Additional Information:

• The successfully candidate will receive referrals.
• Profit Share would be considered, but is dependent on the book value.
• Shareholding within the company would be considered, however is dependent on value of book of clients.
