SUMMARY:
A leading financial services organisation is seeking experienced Short-Term Insurance Brokers to join their growing team across multiple regions in South Africa.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate and convert new business opportunities
• Build and maintain a profitable client portfolio
• Conduct face-to-face client meetings and needs analyses
• Provide tailored Commercial and Personal Lines insurance solutions
• Source and develop own leads through networking and business development
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent service
• Ensure all compliance, FAIS, and regulatory requirements are met
• Manage policy quotations, renewals, and client queries
• Maintain accurate records and pipeline management
• Represent the business professionally within the market

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Minimum 3 years’ face-to-face Commercial Insurance sales experience
• Proven experience in Commercial and Personal Lines insurance
• Strong new business development and lead generation experience
• RE5 qualification (non-negotiable)
• FAIS-compliant qualification / FSCA Fit & Proper requirements completed
• CPD requirements up to date
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence essential
• Existing industry network advantageous
