SUMMARY:
A leading financial services organisation is seeking experienced Short-Term Insurance Brokers to join their growing team across multiple regions in South Africa.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Generate and convert new business opportunities
Build and maintain a profitable client portfolio
Conduct face-to-face client meetings and needs analyses
Provide tailored Commercial and Personal Lines insurance solutions
Source and develop own leads through networking and business development
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent service
Ensure all compliance, FAIS, and regulatory requirements are met
Manage policy quotations, renewals, and client queries
Maintain accurate records and pipeline management
Represent the business professionally within the market

Experience & Qualifications Required

Minimum 3 years’ face-to-face Commercial Insurance sales experience
Proven experience in Commercial and Personal Lines insurance
Strong new business development and lead generation experience
RE5 qualification (non-negotiable)
FAIS-compliant qualification / FSCA Fit & Proper requirements completed
CPD requirements up to date
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence essential
Existing industry network advantageous
