SUMMARY:
Lexdan Select is assisting a Short-Term Insurance brokerage with their search for a Commercial Underwriter, based in Somerset West.

POSITION INFO:
Functions:

Servicing and maintenance of commercial insurance portfolios
Processing commercial portfolios monthly and annual renewals timeously
Administering client files within insurance software and uploading required data and documents
Issuing new policies and confirmation of cover letters
Obtain quotes (amendments and new business) and comparison quotes from insurers
Follow up on unpaid premiums and complete record of advice forms

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience as a Commercial Underwriter at a brokerage
RE 5
FAIS Compliant
Have a passion for client services, excel in attention to detail, and aim to exceed expectations
