POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS
Matric, plus tertiary qualification highly advantageous, especially finance
Own vehicle and driver’s license
Proven sales track record with a personality that enjoys helping people
Tech Savvy and computer literate
Self-starter - being able to cold call and canvass for new business opportunities
Access to a database of clients that you have built up
Good financial acumen and a proven fast learner
Using initiative and attitude in order to get positive results
High level of emotional intelligence
Genuine caring about clients, trustworthy, working with integrity
Understand the importance of planning and achieving goals
You will be required to study for a recognized Insurance Qualification
DUTIES
Reporting to the Client Services Manager
Networking, building, and mining of a profitable client base
Identifying and pursuing prospective clients
Sourcing and securing new business from your network, cold calling, and proactive canvassing
Conduct a risk analysis for insurance purposes and then find the right insurance solution for the client
Obtaining and presenting quotations
Compile winning presentations
Policy maintenance
Ongoing marketing duties
Issuing of policies
Risk Analysis
Provide ongoing support and retaining existing clients, including renewals etc.
Exceed sales targets  
Innovative and creative thinker
Salary: R dependent on experience, plus commission, fuel, medical aid, and pension
