Short Term Rental Controller

Our client in the automotive industry is looking for an Short Term Rental Controller based in Port Elizabeth.

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas

• Drive achievement of short-term rental (STR) targets and budgets.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and communication to build strong client relationships and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct telesales, manage quote records, and maintain a prospects register.
• Submit weekly and monthly stock utilization and count reports.
• Prepare and finalize refinance and defleet documentation.
• Manage reservations, deliveries, and collections of STR fleet units.
• Coordinate transport scheduling, trip planning, and invoicing.
• Ensure all required delivery documentation is complete, accurate, and authorized (e.g., credit applications, signed contracts, customer orders).
• Invoice for rental periods (daily/weekly/monthly), including excess hours.
• Liaise with debtors for account-related matters and follow up on payments.
• Ensure forklifts and machinery have valid load test certificates.
• Coordinate with the workshop for machine readiness prior to delivery.
• Handle customer complaints and queries with professional resolution and timely follow-up.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the manager.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar administrative or fleet coordination role.
• Computer Literacy: Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• System Knowledge: Proficient in Kerridge system (data entry and reporting).
