Our client, a respected and growing leader in the insurance sector, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Short-Term Underwriter to join their dynamic team in Bloemfontein. Minimum requirements
- Matric
- RE5 and or NQF 5 qualification, will be advantageous
- Non-smoker
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- 1–4 years' experience in an administrative or insurance-related role
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Willing to grow within a brokerage environment
- Willing to work overtime or to start early when necessary
- Must be able to provide consistent and timely feedback
- Must be able to work under pressure

- Processing policy renewals
- Making amendments to existing policies
- Requesting quotations

- Must be comfortable spending the majority of the day on the phone
- Must be able to take initiative and think ahead regarding next steps
Work hours
Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
Remuneration
R 8 000 - R 11 000 (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)
