Showroom Assistant - High End - Interior/Decor - Belville

Location: Bellville - Cape Town

SALARY: R10 000 - Plus Benefit's

Requirements.

Matric Certificate - Mandatory
Interior design, visual merchandising, retail, is a plus.
1–3 years’ experience in retail, preferably in furniture, interior design, home décor, or luxury goods.

Skills

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and product knowledge abilities.
Eye for aesthetics, color coordination, and interior styling.
Organized, with attention to detail and presentation.
Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and possibly design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Roomstyler).
Comfortable working on weekends, holidays, and in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Traits

Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
Passion for design and luxury furnishings.
Confidence to interact with affluent clientele and possibly interior designers or architects.

Duties.

Greet and assist clients in the showroom with a tailored, consultative approach.
Understand client needs and recommend suitable products.
Provide product specifications, pricing, and fabric/material options.
Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and after-sales service.
