POSITION INFO:

A leading Telecommunication company is looking for a Site Acquisition Specialist to join their team in KwaZulu-Natal. This position is responsible to monitor the overall site acquisition process using best practices and ensuring that all contractors follow the guidelines for acquiring new sites. The successful candidate will be expected to travel throughout KwaZulu-Natal.

Education:

• Town Planning Degree/Diploma/Certificate

Skills/Experience required:

• 5 - 8 years’ experience in Telecommunication industry, site acquisition, land and property environment.
• Permitting experience
• Working knowledge of wireless networks
• EIA/CAA compliance required

Job Description:

• Acquire BTS sites
• Negotiate new ground leases, and managing all permitting activities
• Liaise with the approved acquisition contractors on initial site surveys
• Manage the process of obtaining relevant information and documentation from Local Authorities, Government Department, EIA and CAA
• Production and analysis of the weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Manage the Procure to Pay process for all Contracting Companies
• Timely update all relevant tools and systems to reflect all performance data within Site Acquisition
