POSITION INFO:
As the Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of residential building sites. You will lead on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure that all projects are completed to specification, on time, and within the highest standards of workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities for labourers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all building work aligns strictly with drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the construction process.
• Enforce site health and safety regulations to ensure a compliant and secure environment.
• Manage site tools, equipment, and material inventory.
• Conduct daily site inspections and provide progress reports to management.
• Identify and resolve technical or logistical on-site challenges efficiently.
• Oversee site cleanliness and maintain professional standards at all times.
• Assist with setting out and basic measurements.
• Accurately complete and submit staff timesheets for fortnightly wage processing.

• Proven experience as a Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the residential construction sector.
• A valid driver’s licence is essential.
• Sound technical knowledge of South African residential building processes and standards.
• Ability to interpret and work from building plans and technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead diverse site teams.
