Site Foreman Electrical - SOLAR / PV: CONTRACT POSITION

SUMMARY:
CONTRACT Position available for a Electrical Site Manager with Electrician trade test and wireman's License to work on Installation projects in the Electrical or Renewable energy fields. Managerial experience on Solar Projects required.

POSITION INFO:

ELECTRICAL SITE SUPERVISOR: SOLAR PROJECTS

Cape Town and Western Cape Area

Contract.

Leading turnkey energy engineering solutions provider. Consulting and Project Management services rendered to a variety of Corporate Clients. Projects focus on energy management, Solar PV for commercial fields.

Qualification

• Electrician Trade test 
• Beneficial if applicant has a trade test as an Installation Technician (Wireman’s’ license)
• 7 Years+ experience and at least 3 years in a managerial / supervisory Capacity
• Must have solar /PV experience. 

Experience required:

• Management of sub-Contractors and suppliers
• Management of Electrical Projects on site
• Solar/PV installation experience

 Responsibilities:

• Manage PV Solar Construction sites from commissioning phase of the project.
• Roof top PV Solar Plant Grid Tie system that varies in size.
• Managing personnel and several sites simultaneously.
• Manage Installations of tie-ins to the grid from the PV Distribution Board.
• Responsible for implementation of OHS Act.
• Compile weekly progress reports to Management.
