SUMMARY:
Site QS Supervisor required for well established company based in Boksburg

POSITION INFO:
Qualification:

• Matric
• Minimum 4 years experience in the Plumbing and Construction Industry
• 4 years experience as a QS in the plumbing and construction industry
• Sound knowledge of construction processes, plumbing systems and industry standards
• Proficiency in estimating
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Certified professional estimator
• Construction specifications Institute (CSI) Certification
• Plumbing or construction related licenses
• Ability to review blueprints and construction plans
• Occasional site visits required, involving exposure to construction environments

• Ability to tender on plumbing and building projects
• Manage and control costs within construction projects from initial planning to completion
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, manage budgets and negotiate contracts and ensure projects are completed within budget and to quality standards
• Analyse project plans and specification to determine material costs, labour requirements and project timelines
• Liaise with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance
• Contract administration
• Financial reporting
