SUMMARY:
Laying Farm Site Manager Managing breeder and layer farms to meet production targets, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards.

Oversees the daily operations, flock performance, and staff on a breeder or egg-laying poultry farm.

Flock Management: Monitor bird health, welfare, mortality rates, and egg production targets like fertility and quality.

Staff Leadership: Supervise farm workers, manage task schedules, handle training, and build a safe work culture.

Biosecurity Control: Enforce strict hygiene and biosecurity rules to protect the flock from disease.

Data and Reporting: Track daily production numbers, analyze performance metrics, and report results to upper management.

Resource and Asset Care: Control operating budgets and ensure farm equipment and housing stay clean and well-maintained

POSITION INFO:
Diploma in Agriculture (or a related field). Experience: 5 years working in poultry production or farm supervisory roles. Skills: Strong leadership, basic financial budgeting, data analysis, and computer literacy. Fluent in English and Afrikaans Drivers License.
