SUMMARY:
An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking the above to prepare a detailed production plan and adapt this plan to short term changes, by utilising netted country demands in the logistics SAP system, based on sales forecast for the various business units (Local and SAC countries) and various Passive and Active Toll Customers.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Diploma in any Commercial or related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Production Environment is essential
Must have at least 3 years hands-on experience in relevant SAP modules (MRP, Inventory and Purchasing)
Excellent communication and people skills, to interact with internal and external customers, are required
Good overview knowledge of the entire product supply process, including production lines, capacities and contamination prevention is essential
Must be flexible and adapt to changing requirements on a regular basis
Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines
Must have advanced knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Ensuring production processes, based on requirements, are implemented and that stock is produced as per the required plan.
Liaising with the Forecast Manager, Toll customers as well as the production plant and warehouse.
Validating the netted country demands on site level, which are based on the sales forecast or tolling requirements.
Creating an extensive production plan on detailed material level, aligning all resources (materials, people and machines) and updating the plan regularly based on availability of these resources.
Analysing and determining netted demand for bulk including packing down, active ingredients for formulation on site and Finished products (SAP and APO).
Creating and adjusting process orders.
Acting as an interface between Sales and Production in the short-term planning horizon.
Confirming requested delivery date to sales and ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders.
