SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Site Project Engineer to join their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Site Project Engineer
Location: Netherlands

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
1-10 years of experience in a site engineering or project engineering role.
Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and engineering principles.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage the execution of site-based engineering activities, ensuring projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve any issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Monitor and track the progress of construction activities, providing updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and project specifications to support project planning and execution.
