POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a highly talented person to fill the role of Site Reliability Engineer. They use modern techniques in AI, cloud, and data engineering to solve the core strategic problems in global companies. Their domain expertise is in utilities, insurance, banking, and telecommunications


Requirements:

• 6+ years’ experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Software Operations or Software Engineering
• 2+years’ experience with Azure
• Ability to program with one or more high level languages - experience in bash scripting and Python is advantageous
• Proficient in managing Linux servers
• Experience with managing repositories hosted on Github
• Azure Certification (Advantageous)
• Experience with Docker (Advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Design and configure infrastructure to ensure optimal functioning and reliability of all platform environments
• Optimise automated build and release pipelines to support Solution Delivery objectives
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and providing self-service capabilities to Engineering team members
• Improve logging, monitoring and other aspects contributing to the observability of all platforms and services
• Set up, configure and manage licensing for various tools and services used by the Engineering team
• Optimise platform source code repositories and Engineering team development environments
• Collaborate with the team in engineering aspects related to integrating platforms into third party tools and services
• Assist the team with troubleshooting and resolving incidents
