Are you a disciplined, results-driven professional with a passion for safety, security, and leadership? We are seeking a Site Security Manager to take charge of daily operations, manage personnel, and ensure full compliance with all statutory, client, and company standards.
This role requires a high-integrity individual with strong leadership capabilities, operational excellence, and a proactive mindset to maintain safety and service delivery at assigned sites.
? Minimum Requirements

PSIRA Registration – Grade A (Compulsory)

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
-
Security/Risk Management or Policing qualification (Advantageous)

Firearm Competency: Handgun & Shotgun (Mandatory for Armed Sites)

Valid Code 8/B Driver’s License
-
First Aid Level 1 & Firefighting Training (Advantageous)

SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) Compliance Knowledge
-
Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel & Email
? Experience & Background

Minimum 5 years’ experience in security management or a supervisory role
-
Experience managing large teams of guards, supervisors & control room staff
-
Strong background in incident investigation, client liaison, and report writing
-
Proven knowledge of SLA compliance and contractual obligations
-
Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and radio communication systems

? Core Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and deployment of security personnel
-
Conduct site inspections, parades, and enforce compliance with post orders
-
Maintain operational registers (incident, occurrence, shift, etc.)
-
Perform regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
-
Ensure compliance with PSIRA, OHS Act, Firearms Control Act, and internal policies
-
Liaise with clients, SAPS, and stakeholders effectively
-
Investigate and professionally report incidents or breaches
-
Manage and audit equipment registers (firearms, radios, PPE)
-
Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and disciplinary matters
-
Compile accurate weekly/monthly reports for internal and client use
-
Coordinate and ensure emergency response readiness
