Site Supervisor - Mechanical

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an EE opportunity for a Site Supervisor - Mechanical available in the Matla, Mpumalanga area. This will be a contract position for 12 months.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• N Dip: Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)
• Trade: Artisan(Relevant) MQA/QCTO Accred (Essential/Minimum)
• B Tech (Relevant) (Recommended/Desirable)
• 5 years relevant construction and Commercial exposure (Project Size dependent)

KPAs:

• Assist Project Manager with compiling Scope of work
• Process Appointments and assure adherence to Legal requirements of Contractors
• Conduct timeous investigation of incidents and ensure adequate remedial action is implemented
• Co-ordinate relocation of ad-hoc site resources / activities
• Ensure effective risk management by identifying hazardous activities and mitigation measures on a continuous basis
• Monthly audits on every contractor
