JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Site Supervisor - Mechanical in the Kriel, Mpumalanga area. This will be a contract position for 12 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements

N Dip: Mechanical Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
Trade: Artisan (Relevant) MQA/QCTO Accred (Essential/Minimum)
5 years relevant operational construction and commercial exposure (project size dependent)
Registration as a Professional Construction Project M

KPA’s:

Updating of procedures, chapters, and other relevant documentation to ensure project execution growth and improvement to a better maturity level
Be involved with tender evaluations and scoring of contractors
Follow the PEP chapter
Construction executed in accordance with the commissioning sequence
Contractor Management
Cost management
Document Control and Quality Management
Effective People Management and employee relations
Assist in identifying risks and putting them on the risk register
Checking of excavations, levels and geotechnical conditions
Survey verification
Permitting for excavations
