JOB SUMMARY:
Due to an increase in demand and continued growth, Measured Ability Outsourcing Group, a leading national Temporary Employment Service (TES), and South African Labour Powerhouse, has a permanent vacancy for a Site Supervisor to join our Cape Town Branch in Parow North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor with experience in Temporary Employment Services(TES) industry for one of our sites in Atlantis, Western Cape.

Duties include:

Preparing and presenting basic site inductions and safety briefings.
Assessing and managing safety hazards.
Ensuring appropriate site rules are in place.
Ensure workers are equipped with appropriate PPE.
Helping Site Managers to plan the work schedule.
Helping co-ordinate staff on site.
Transportation of workers to and from site.
Completing records for site reports.
Attending site management meetings.
Carrying out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.
Raising safety concerns at the appropriate level.
Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
Organizing and overseeing external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector.

Relevant skills of a site supervisor include:

The ability to communicate with, motivate, and if necessary, discipline the workforce.
Ensure optimal client service levels
Gather and review all payroll data
Ensure that all shifts are well resourced as per plan
Engage with the client and staff to ensure that required productivity levels are achieved.
Organisational skills.
The ability to mediate to resolve issues.
An understanding of legal responsibilities.
An understanding of occupational health and behavioural safety issues

Minimum Requirements:

A Minimum of 2 Years working experience as a site Supervisor in the Temporary Employment Services (TES) industry.
Must be proficient in MS Excel
Effective communication and relationship building skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
A clear criminal and credit record.

A basic salary accompanied by commission is on offer.

Only candidates with TES experience will be considered. If you do not have experience in the TES industry, please do not apply.
