SUMMARY:
Site Technician required with experience on Grinding Mills
POSITION INFO:
Qualification
- Trade Tested Fitter (Mechanical).
- Relevant Mining Industry Certificates or Course would be an advantage.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience in the mining industry, particularly in supervising plant / site work.
- Strong background in Grinding Ball and SAG Mills essential.
- Strong technical knowledge and skill in heavy equipment maintenance and installations.
- Familiar with mining site safety standards and practices.
Duties
- Install, service, and maintain grinding mills and associated components.
- Supervise and lead site teams on installation and maintenance projects.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met on-site.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Project Engineer and Site Services Manager.
- Prepare and maintain detailed job reports and documentation.
