Snr Accountant (Retail)
Based in Melrose Arch
R300 000 - R400 000 ctc
 
The client is a Multinational distributor in the fashion industry, looking for a Senior Accountant based in Johannesburg. 
 

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Good working knowledge of the finance & accounting functions in Fashion Retail and or Consumer Products industry.
• Must have Navision experience
• Managing a turnover of R15 0 + million
• Will be reporting into Dubai
• Must have strong Distribution knowledge 
• Will only be dealing with Sales and Procurement side and the rest is done by external Accounting firm but candidate will vet and control all reports
• Ability to manage various accounting activities including preparation of reports for management, liaising with SARS, Government authority, Financial institute, Customers, Supplier, other legal entity and business partners.
• Successfully standardize and manage the accounting and maintain uniform accounting policies applying IFRS, should also have knowledge of RSA tax structure (income tax, Vat and other import/export duties).
• Ability to manage the team of 10-15 people with good communication skill. (Operations Team)
