Snr Agronomist

SUMMARY:
An exiting opportunity with an Agri leader for a Precision Farming Expert

POSITION INFO:

Our client is a leading supplier of agricultural services and precision agriculture technologies in Sub Saharan Africa

They are looking to hire an Agronomy Manager who will be responsible for the following:

• Visit and advise customers on agronomy-related matters including soil health, crop husbandry and fertilisation. 
• Source new business for the Agronomy Department. 
• Collect soil, leaf and water samples for customers in our client portfolio.

Interested applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:

• Possess a B.Sc. Agriculture degree or similar qualification. 
• At least five years’ work experience in a busy farming environment and in sustainable farming methodology. 
• Very good knowlkedge of sugar crop farming with extensive experience in this.
• Knowledge of soil fertility management. 
• Detailed knowledge of the Sub Saharan agricultural sector and be willing to travel within
• Self-starter able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
