JOB DESCRIPTION:

Snr Credit Analyst, Rentals

Innovative bank seeks diligent and proactive indiv. Be instrumental in assessing Credit applications for Rentals Credit. Manage + mitigate risks, and optimise return on lending activities. Manage Credit process. Good culture.

Main Responsibilities:

Assess Rental Credit applications.
Interpret pertinent info and analyse financial statements.
Read, analyse and interpret financial data.
Reassess declined deals for a higher risk appetite level.
Prepare, report and present deals.
Prepare and present deals in daily Credit Meeting.
Assess/review credit /pre discounting finance Supplier applications
Review, assess and recommend large facility applications/reports to Credit Committee.
Sign off credit related conditions.
Manage a sole and dual mandate.
Credit pay-out check on deals exceeding R20m.
Other ad hoc functions within Rental Credit Depart.

Qualifications and Experience:

Credit Diploma or Degree in Business or Finance.
Credit Analyst / Mgt exp in Banking (pref Asset Finance - Rentals).
Be able to manage high volumes.
