SUMMARY:
Responsible for complex SAP Retail & Logistics implementations and operational management including
Business Solution Consulting, Pre-sales, Solution Management and Support, and supervision of staff when required
POSITION INFO:
Ensure optimised customer service all times based on client business requirements. Responsible for provision of technical subject matter expertise in the fulfilment of an expert level consulting role. To ensure Quality Standards are improved and maintained. To deliver Strategic and Thought Leadership to existing and new clients, locally and internationally. Responsible for managing the SAP Retail & Logistics team and assisting with the upskilling and development of junior staff.
Qualifications:
Relevant Diploma (NQF 6) in Information Technology in IT/Business/Commerce or Human Resources Alternatively,
Grade 12(NQF4) with relevant IT certification
Experience:
8 - 10 years relevant experience in a Service Delivery environment. The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector and preferably within an SAP Consulting environment of which at least 2 years at management level. OR Alternatively, 9 years’ relevant experience in a Service Delivery environment.

Certifications / Professional Registration:
Applicable industry certification will be an advantage SAP certified
Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
Complete projects and deliver quality solutions to clients in time, within budget and to agreed scope. Ensure projects and solution deliveries have the required documentation, testing plans, etc.
Meet deliverable requirements/service level measures/specific targets. (e.g.: Meeting SLAs confining to quality requirements)
Drive and actively participate in designing and developing fit for purpose solutions for clients through obtaining and analyzing business requirements and researching best practice (R&D).
Generate leads and identify opportunities to sell new solutions to clients. (e.g.: Feasibility analysis of Retail processes that can generate new SAP business) Respond to client RFP''s
Ensure that all potential risks that may impact on the performance and success of the department are identified, escalated and mitigated
Ensure high quality work processes during all support/project cycles through the defect management process to ensure a high-quality solution.
Create re-usable solution, process or work product (Technical/Non-Technical) that can save time, efforts and eliminate errors of self/others. Knowledge dissemination. (e.g.: Conduct Technical/domain training to enhance skills of team members)
Ensure personal billable hours meet agreed target ranges Submit timesheet in time according to Companypolicies and procedures.
Knowledge creation and storage. e.g.: Document all new processes/activities, configuration and store on the knowledge management server
People Management i.e. assigning the roles and responsibility among the SAP COE IT Service Delivery team members; oversee and review all staff activities and guide them in managing time and deliverables, planning for the staff trainings as per the prevailing business needs, provide coaching and guidance and ensure that the necessary training takes place, successfully implement performance management and career development strategies and processes in alignment with company policy and guidelines, conduct performance reviews at least bi-annually and in alignment with company policies and procedures Financial Management i.e. Accurately verify billings to clients at all times Intermediate between SAP COE and the client on all billing queries expediting where necessary, Continuously ensure the financial management of cost of sales and operational expenditure to achieve approved budgeted, Perform monthly forecasting of cost of sales and operational expenditure, Perform financial projections and forecasts as well as assist in the creation and management of a budget for one’s areas of responsibility, Continuously assess, manage and monitor financial risks, Continuously look for new opportunities to obtain and save funds, Prepare financial reports based on prescribed format when required
