QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Essential)
  • Government Certificate of Competence (Mines and Works) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential)
  • BDegree / BTech Degree (NQF Level 7) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Recommended)

Experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years operational Engineering (Appointed section engineer) experience within the mining environment (Essential)

(Legal appointment 2.13.3.1 / 2.13.1 as a section Engineer would be an added advantage)

  • Minimum of three (3) years Project / Middle management experience (Essential)

(Total of eight years’ experience required, of which some can run concurrent)
