Upmarket and well-known Home Décor Retail Brand is seeking an experienced SENIOR SALES CONSULTANT to join their team in George. We are looking for a vibrant individual who is passionate about homeware\/décor, with excellent retail sales experience. The main purpose of the job is to ensure consistent implementation and upholding of policies and procedures. Ensure operational compliance and risk mitigation. Drive a motivated and energised store team and drive sales of the brand products through effective stock management, maintaining merchandising standards and overseeing the effective operations of the showroom. The Senior Sales Consultant will promote and sell retail products to customers, providing excellent customer service, reaching and exceeding sales budgets. Start: Immediate The main function of the Senior Sales Consultant job include: - Building long standing and productive relationships with customers - Selling our luxury homeware products and reaching\/exceeding sales targets - Maintaining retail showroom standards and operations - Focus on customer satisfaction - Managing orders of retail products for the showroom - Stock management - Supporting the external sales consultant - Supporting the payment process - It is also important to note this position is of physical nature due to the handling of heavy rugs Senior Sales Consultant Requirements: - Experience required : At least 3 years' experience in a similar sales assistant role, within a retail environment, preferably for a luxury brand. An added advantage would be experience in a senior role, coordinating a team or being a senior sales assistant. You also need to have experience working on point of sale. We are seeking someone that can drive sales but in the same time make a real connection with the customer to establish a long term relationship. - Retail specific : If you are a natural interior designer and love to keep on track with the current homeware and décor trends this is the job for you! We seek someone that has experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes, and is customer focused and orientated. - Interpersonal skills: We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills; written and spoken with a highly sales driven focus on achieving target results. You need to be professional and well presented, self-motivated and have a natural business acumen. Senior Sales Consultant salary: Competitive Remuneration: market-related salary package.
