JOB SUMMARY:
My client based in Sandton is searching for a talented Social media coordinator and Designer to administer their social media accounts and online platform. This position will be responsible for creating original content in line with the corporate identity, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage the company image alongside the marketing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Media Studies or Digital Marketing qualification.
Adobe Design suite
Social Media Management with knowledge of social analytics tools and platforms such as Facebook.
Analytics, and Twitter Analytics.
Google Analytics/Ad Words certification will be an advantage.
Proven track record in PPC (Paid Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).
Experience in Microsoft Office.
Website management and eCommerce experience will be an advantage.
Adept in the use of the latest Adobe Design suite or similar.
Creative design flair.
Must be able to do basic copywriting.
Can work with Marketing and Online Manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop new digital online marketing plans and activities.
Create, plan and drive two social posts per week.
Grow market share using online and social platforms (identify growth opportunities and trends).
Understanding of market segmentation and how to attract clients using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Analyze and report on the performance of all digital activity, identifying insights and recommendations for the continued improvements of social activities.
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
Design of and editing of all marketing messaging.
Email marketing to database.
Technological acumen, understand the backend of websites and how to administer certain functions.
Creation of website content such as articles or online banners.
Updating of website content where needed.
Working with the Online team to drive online sales.
