Social Media Marketer

Purpose of the Role:

To develop, implement, and manage the company’s social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a content calendar for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).

• Create, curate, and manage original and engaging content (graphics, video, copy).

• Monitor social media channels and engage with followers, responding to comments and messages.

• Track and analyze performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and platform insights.

• Manage paid advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads).

• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align content with broader campaigns.

• Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and platform changes.

• Work with influencers and brand ambassadors when required.

• Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

• Certification in social media marketing (e.g., Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, or Google Digital Garage) is a plus.

Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing.

• Proven track record of growing brand presence on social media platforms.

• Experience with tools like Photoshop and Illustrator

• Experience in managing paid ad campaigns and working with social media analytics.
