Social Media / SEM Specialist

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic, creative, person that is always informed to current trends and will be able to grow & maintain our online presence and enhance our marketing strategy for various social media platforms. Actively engaging customers and influencers, through various communication formats, within the social media channel.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

• Produce content and manage all social media platforms (IG, FB, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
• Brief in artwork and design of all social media campaigns
• Establish and deliver timeously on a new social marketing calendar requirement
• Ability to brainstorm and formulate social media strategies, including creative direction elements highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Create, manage and optimise paid online campaigns (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter - must be familiar with the platforms business/ ad panels)
• Understand and interpret digital marketing data/ analytics (key metrics)
• Familiar with key social media channels: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Manage and oversee social media content and social media advertising campaigns.
• · Measure and provide reports on social media activity
• · Experience using latest social media marketing tools
• · Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and web traffic metrics
• · You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social campaigns, ensuring the maximum impact
• · Produce creative and impactful content that will entice customers to show interest in our brand
• · Must have exceptional skill with words and pay attention to grammar and spelling details

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric
• Relevant social media/digital marketing diploma
• Digital Marketing certification, Google Certification (Shopping, Display and Search),
• 3+ years'''' experience in a similar role
• Knowledge and a clear understanding of SEO, HTML and CSS
• Experience with analytics software would be beneficial
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines

This position is permanent and will be based in the beautiful city of George, Western Cape.
