Soft Services Manager (Healthcare)

SUMMARY:
A Services Manager (Soft services) position is vacant at a hospital situated in Johannesburg. Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar role is essential.

POSITION INFO:

The main responsibility is to coordinate and effectively manage the following departments ie: Catering, Cleaning, Security services, Hygiene, Medical & Surgical Waste, Pest Control, Laundry, Coffee shop.

Key duties:

·         Effective management of internal support services and external service providers

·         Financial management

·         Quality systems management (ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 1400:2004)

·         People management

·         Facilities management

Working & Industry experience (non-negotiable):

·         Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing outsourced/insourced Soft Services, Integrated Facilities management and Bundled Soft Services

·         Experience in managing budgets & forecasting

·         Procurement and management of facilities related to services

·         SLA & contract management including knowledge of OHS Act

·         Report writing

·         Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing large teams within a multi-disciplinary environment

Other Requirements:

Degree OR National Diploma at NQF Level 7 (3-4years) in:

Facilities Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain/Contract Management, Project Management     

Knowledge of Industrial Relations would be advantage

Experience within the Healthcare sector OR Hospitality, Retail, FMCG would be advantage

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to support after hour call-out if/when required
