A growing technology-driven organisation is seeking a Software Developer & Azure Support Engineer to join its IT team. This hybrid role combines software development with Microsoft infrastructure and cloud support, making it ideal for an individual who enjoys working across multiple technologies and solving complex technical challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing internal business applications, supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, maintaining infrastructure services, and driving automation initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver effective technology solutions while contributing to ongoing digital transformation efforts. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications. Develop and support REST APIs and database solutions. Build clean, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. Participate in application design, testing, deployment, and documentation. Support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity solutions. Support Windows Server infrastructure and related services. Develop automation solutions using scripting and process automation tools. Provide technical support to end users and maintain high service standards. Job Experience and Skills Required Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Microsoft certifications will be advantageous. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development and IT support environments. Experience developing web-based applications and REST APIs. Exposure to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Experience supporting Windows Server infrastructure. Experience with automation and scripting solutions. Strong PHP development skills. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Tailwind. Solid SQL and MySQL database experience. Experience with Git version control. Knowledge of REST API development and integration. Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID administration. Windows Server and IIS administration. PowerShell scripting and automation. Understanding of networking fundamentals. Python development experience. Docker and containerisation technologies. Linux administration experience. Microsoft Graph API knowledge.
