SUMMARY:
A well established manufacturer is in search of a Software Developer to build and maintain enterprise grade software applications. Applicants must have at least 5 yearsÃ¢Â€Â™ experience as a developer preferably with senior level experience in developing desktop, web and mobile applications.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Works with business analysts, application owners, users and external development teams to ideate and define requirements
Performs detailed analysis on new applications and enhancement requests
Translates requirements into technical specifications and design documents
Designs client-side and server-side architecture and build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Develops and manages well-functioning databases and applications and develops integration between various commercial applications (JDE, OnBase, SharePoint e.tc) and bespoke applications
Creates security and data protection settings Tests application back-end and front-end to ensure correctness, responsiveness and efficiency
Validate solution accuracy and relevance with stakeholders and train users on developed applications Troubleshoots , debugs and upgrades software applications
Prepares reports , manuals and other documentation on the architecture, status, operation and maintenance of software applications Resolves development related service desk requests

Qualiifications:

BSc Computer Science/ BSc Information Technology/ BEng Computer Engineering/ BSc Software Engineering
5 years’ experience as a developer preferably with senior level experience in developing desktop, web and mobile applications

Requirements:

A customer focused analytical thinker, with good attention to detail, problem solving, and communication skills who ensures high quality output
Good understanding of integration architectures and modern application/web/mobile design standards
Have development experience with either Oracle/JDE, Microsoft SharePoint, Hyland OnBase and or Microsoft Azure
