The Role
You''ll join a team of 10 as they undergo an incredible new venture, working closely with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineers in an Agile environment.
You will be confident voicing your opinion and sharing ideas, drawing on your experience in the architecture, design and implementation of cloud applications- ideally Azure, but other cloud platforms would stand you in good stead.
You will try out new ways to improve the software as you all go on the product journey, striving for a higher performance- speed, data size, and simulation time.
You''ll be confident with a selection of the following:
- C#, .NET Core, C++, Python
- Azure (or AWS/GCP)
- Practicing SOLID OO-design principles and design patterns
- TDD, Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge of containers, functions, pipelines and/or deployment.
Above all, you''ll have an open mind, and a genuine interest and curiosity for all things digital, data, and for digital transformation of the traditional practices in the maritime industry
What''s on Offer
HQ''d in Southampton and London, they are very flexible on the level of remote working on offer- they are focused on working with you in a way that suits you. Whether you prefer to work primarily in the office, at home, or a mix of both.
Salary wise, we have a scope of £50,000 - £70,000 on offer for the right person, with a bonus, healthcare and a 10% pension.
