Software Developer

SUMMARY:
South Africa’s largely E-Commerce company is looking for a Solutions orientated and Technically Savvy software developer to join their commercial and gigantic company.

POSITION INFO:

Education:

• IT related Degree or Diploma (BSc/BTech or similar).
• 4 - 8 years Java systems development experience.
• Candidate will be required to be a team player with problem-solving skills.
• Performing the duties will require the candidate to be diligent in terms of using the prescribed tools of source code versioning and control.

Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years in C# Software development experience
• Experience and understanding of Banking and Financial Services Business is advantageous
• Experience in Agile environment
• Experience in quality assurance and testing
• Familiar with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Object – Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate), with the ability to design and model databases.

Description:

• Advanced SQL language
• Advanced C# language
• Windows Communication Foundation
• IBM-MQ, MSMQ
• Unit testing frameworks (Unit or MS Test)
