JOB DESCRIPTION:

An innovative Insurance organization based in Centurion is seeking a Software Developer to join their high-performing development team. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for design and development of complex solutions as well as enhancing the exiting systems. This organization has a hybrid working module.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in informatics, Computer Science, or related Degree.
MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) certification.
At least 7 years hands-on experience with coding in C# .Net and React.js.
Expert knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server.
Advanced knowledge of XML and web services.
At least 4 years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, systems and software development roles.
Good understanding of Agile principals.
Knowledge/ experience in the financial services industry, specifically short-term insurance would be an advantage.
Good understanding of the various phases of SDLC.
Knowledge of software design principals, practices and patterns.

Job & Company Description:

Design and develop moderate to complex solutions.
Improve and enhance performance of existing systems.
Assist with troubleshooting root-cause errors.
Manage and guide junior team members where needed.
Join design workshops of the databases and software.
Write software according to business requirements specifications processes and standards.
Unit testing and hand over completed software for continuous testing.
Take responsibility for all stages of the application development project life cycle.
Develop and uphold modern software application architecture roadmaps that support the ongoing and evolving enterprise innovation platform.
Define and uphold application, data and security architecture principals and policies.
Ensure all documentation is updated.
