The Role:

An international focus client based in Pretoria is on the lookout for a Software Developer - AWS Cloud Specialist on a contractual basis - 12 Months.

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum educational level:

Degree in IT or relevant experience
AWS Certified â?? Developer Associate
AWS Certified â?? Solution Architect Associate
AWS Certified â?? DevOps Engineer

Â

Technical skills:

Microservices Architecture, Cloud Architecture and Container Architecture
Node.js and Java back end technologies
AWS Serverless Framework
IaaS knowledge
OAuth2, OpenID Connect
Docker / Kubernetes
Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Artifactory

Key Accountabilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and operate production ready business applications
Liaise with customer, team members and external vendors
Deploy applications in AWS via JenkinsÂ
Monitoring and operation of applications within AWS CloudWatch
Applying cloud-security patterns and concepts to the solutions and deployments
