JOB SUMMARY:
Software Developer position available at International company. Electronic/Mechatronic engineer required with minimum 3 years of working experience in Matlab/Simulink software development for embedded controllers used in the automotive environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Sotware Developer: Automotive Controls
Location: Cape Town

International company.Embedded development, -verification and -maintenance of software on display hardware. Skills needed in RTOS and microprocessor designs

Qualification:

B Eng. Degree in Mechatronic / Electronic Engineering (M-preferred)
Willing to travel overseas for variable periods
Minimum 3 years experience in embedded design
Proficient in Matlab/Simulink
Knowledge of J1939 CAN communication and associated test tools/equipment.

Responsibilities:

Embedded software development for products in the automotive environment
Take ownership of the software development for the product portfolio
Responsible for development, -verification and -maintenance of software
Field- and verification testing
Support software development
Work with controller hardware suppliers during product development
