Software Developer / Consultant

SUMMARY:
An office-based position for a Software Developer at a well-established Pretoria-based technology business, mostly active in projects for foreign clients. They mostly work with Microsoft modern technologies (but not exclusively). The successful candidate will work mostly in an ERP environment, often working with international clients.

Recent Graduates (B.Sc IT / B.Com Informatics or related 3 year degree)

• Must have completed B.Sc Computer Science,  B.Com Informatics, Software Engineering or other similar 3 year degrees at minimum.
• Have excellent programming skills using best practices.
• Must be willing to use different programming languages.
• Adhere to good documentation practices for software.
• Must be capable to interact with third parties.
• Understand Database principles.
• Deliver high quality of work.
• Be willing to learn.
• Be willing to share knowledge.
• Act with innovation and initiative.
• Have good analytical and research skills.
• Be able to read Afrikaans (or Dutch) as client specifications can be Dutch based.
• Teamwork is important, but candidates must also be able to work alone.

• Experience in programming and an interest in an ERP environment.
• Stable work record (No job-hoppers please)
• Experience with Microsoft NAV of Microsoft Business Central
• C# experience will be an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to coordinate a team
• Must have knowledge of business processes and transactions

• General working hours: 8:00 - 17:00 or as applicable to a project, 1-hour lunch.
