Job & Company Description:
Our client was founded in South Africa and now operates from offices around the world. They are looking for a C# developer to assist in building defined web services along with other C# applications as needed. Development work will include anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts to SQL integration and some front-end development. Your primary responsibilities will be to follow and contribute to designs, develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. The team is international so some level of flexibility is required for occasional meetings in other time zones.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
BSc Computer Science or equivalent
6+ years of solid professional/commercial coding experience in C# (production code standards).
Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Experience with the .NET framework as well as .NET Core
Solid coding experience using MVC, C#, ASP, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, WEBAPI and SQL Server (developing and shipping application code).
Application Frontend development in Angular, Typescript, HTML5
Integration into third party systems and software
Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Systems / Software / Principles – Cloud based, Platform as a Service, Big Data
Good knowledge of Device Protocols
Should understand integration via REST API, Logical data modelling using ER diagramming.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS
Good working knowledge of Agile development practises.
Good working knowledge of Docker containers & Kubernetes.
Good working knowledge of microservices.
Good working knowledge of MongoDB.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer certification strongly preferred.
